Grand Poker Series

Ante Up! Golden Nugget Las Vegas hosted its Third Annual Grand Poker Series June 5 – July 4, 2010, in its luxurious events center, The Grand. This month-long event featured more than 200 poker tournaments including Omaha high/low, HORSE, Pot Limit Omaha, 7 Card Stud and plenty of heart-pounding No Limit Hold ‘em action, as well as cash games, special tournaments for seniors and ladies and two signature bracelet events - the Poker Queen Ladies Championship and The Grand Finale No Limit Championship.

With seven daily tournaments and buy-ins starting at $65, there’s a game for every player and every bank roll. The Grand Poker Series is all about huge chip stacks, great structures and the friendliest staff around.

Previous years’ Grand Poker Series have hosted more than 25,000 players from across the globe, handing out in excess of $2.3 million in total prize money and raised more than *$641,000* for charity through special celebrity charity tournaments. One of these tournaments, the 2010 Suzie and Howard Lederer Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament benefiting The Boys and Girls Club, rewarded its first place winner with an unprecedented opportunity to star on NBC’s hit poker program Poker After Dark by receiving a $20,000 seat on the top-rated, late-night poker program donated by Full Tilt Poker.net. No poker tournament had ever awarded a seat on a nationally televised poker program with the chance to become poker’s next television star, before the Grand Poker Series.
