Unique Reception Spaces
As an attendee or meeting planner, I’m sure you have seen an abundance of traditional meeting spaces in your time of planning and attending meetings and events! If you are looking for a reception venue to remember and set yourself apart in the Downtown area then consider looking at the below unique reception spaces for your program!
Troy Liquor Bar
Take your event to the next level at Troy Liquor Bar located inside the Hotel. Troy has the best views overlooking Fremont Street Experience from their second level open-air balcony. Troy’s Liquor Bar is available for events up to 250 guests. There is a DJ booth located inside and digital screen displays with the capability to present graphics and video highlighting your company or event.
You could literally spend hours here looking at the hundreds of artifacts, photos, stories, and taking in all the history of organized crime. The Mob Museum is the National Museum of Organized Crime & Law Enforcement and it is in walking distance to the Golden Nugget! You can actually host your event in the very same courtroom that was the location of the Kefauver Hearings in 1950. If you want to go even further back in time, you can host your reception in their Speakeasy and Distillery, paying homage to the Prohibition Era. The Mob Museum can accommodate groups ranging in size from 10 to 730 attendees.
Keep Memory Alive Event Center
One of, if not, the most unique buildings in Las Vegas is the Keep Memory Alive Center in Downtown Las Vegas Symphony Park neighborhood. If you have walked or driven by it, you would know it, as it leaves quite the visual impact on you! The best part about choosing this location for your event is that proceeds benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The center can accommodate 450 guests seated and up to 700 standing.
The Smith Center
The Smith is known throughout the city as the cultural centerpiece of Downtown. It was built and created to be a world-class performing arts center hosting everything from Broadway shows and topnotch artists to local community talent.
