THE GOLDEN NUGGET RACE & SPORTS BOOK WILL NOT ACCEPT WAGERS OTHER THAN THE THE CURRENTLY POSTED TERMS EXCEPT AT THE DISCRETION OF MANAGEMENT.

RACE BOOK RULES

OFFICIAL RESULTS AND MUTUELS, AS DETERMINED BY THE TRACK AT THE TIME THE RACE IS POSTED WILL BE CONSIDERED OFFICIAL BY THE GOLDEN NUGGET RACE & SPORTS BOOK FOR WAGERING PURPOSES.  ANY SUBSEQUENTLY OVERTURNED DECISIONS WILL BE DISREGARDED.

ONCE A WAGER IS ACCEPTED BY BOTH PARTIES, TICKETS WILL NOT BE ALTERED OR VOIDED AFTER THE LAST HORSE HAS ENTERED THE STARTING GATE.  PATRONS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ODDS OR LINE CHANGES IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

  1. POSTED ODDS FOR RACING EVENTS WILL BE SHOWN FROM THE TELEVISED TRACK FEED.
  2. POSTED PROPOSITION WAGERS WILL BE UPDATED WITHIN 15 MINUTES ON THE ELECTRONIC READER BOARDS OR THE HANDWRITTEN RACE & SPORTS BOARDS.
  3. NON-POSTED EVENTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED VERBALLY WITHIN THE PREMISES OF THE RACE & SPORTS BOOK.
  4. NON-POSTED PRINTED MEDIA WILL BE UPDATED ON A WEEKLY BASIS WITH THE DATE OF THE LATEST ISSUE.

ALL RACES MUST RUN ON THE DATE AND TRACK SCHEDULED.  IF A RACE IS POSTPONED AND/OR RESCHEDULED TO A LATER DATE, SAID EVENT WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONSTITUTE “NO ACTION” FOR BETTING PURPOSES UNLESS STIPULATED OTHERWISE.

MINIMUM WAGER IS $2.00 ON IN-HOUSE WAGERS EXCEPT ON TRIFECTA AND DAILY TRIPLE WAGERS WHERE THE MINIMUM IS $1.00.

ALL FACTORS INVOLVED IN RACE WAGERING PROPOSITIONS, PAYOFF ODDS AND THE DETERMINATION OF WINNERS AND LOSERS SHALL BE ESTABLISHED BY RACE BOOK MANAGEMENT WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING.

AN EXACTA, DAILY DOUBLE, PICK-THREE, QUINELLA OR TRIFECTA WAGER ACCEPTED ON A NON-EXACTA, DAILY DOUBLE, PICK-THREE, QUINELLA OR TRIFECTA RACE RESPECTIVELY CONSTITUTES “NO ACTION” AND THE MONEY IS REFUNDED.

RACE BOOK WAGERING TICKETS WILL BE  HONORED FOR 120 DAYS AFTER THE END OF THE RACING MEET.  WINNING TICKETS MAY BE MAILED IN FOR COLLECTION.  SEE REVERSE SIDE OF WAGERING TICKET FOR MAIL-IN COLLECTION INSTRUCTIONS AND ADDRESS.

PARI-MUTUEL HOUSE RULES

U.S. RACE TRACKS

  1. CANCELLATIONS OF TICKETS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED AFTER THE CUSTOMER LEAVES THE COUNTER.  PATRONS SHOULD DOUBLE CHECK ALL TICKETS BEFORE LEAVING THE COUNTER.
  2. PAYOFFS OVER $50,000 MAY BE DELAYED UNTIL THE NEXT REGULAR BANKING DAY.
  3. ALL PICK 3, 6 OR 9 TICKETS THAT INVOLVE A SCRATCH, DEFAULT TO THE OFFICIAL TRACK DESIGNATED OFF TIME FAVORITE.  IF A SCRATCH OCCURS IN OTHER PARI-MUTUEL WAGERS AT THE PARI-MUTUEL TRACK, THE RULES AT THE RESPECTIVE HOST PARI-MUTUEL TRACK WILL APPLY TO THE SCRATCHED ENTRANTS.
  4. WINNING PARI-MUTUEL WAGERS ARE PAID IN ACCORDANCE WITH OFFICIAL RULES AT THE TRACK.

NOTE:  AT ALL NEW YORK TRACKS, IF A SCRATCH OCCURS BEFORE THE FIRST LEG IN A 3 PICK WAGER, THE BETTOR RECEIVES A REFUND.  IN THE EVENT OF A LATE SCRATCH AFTER THE RUNNING OF THE FIRST LEG OF THE WAGER, A CONSOLATION PAYOFF IS PAID TO BETTORS WITH WINNERS IN THE OTHER TWO LEGS.

CANADIAN RACE TRACKS

  1. ANY PAYOFFS OF WAGERS COMINGLED WITH A CANADIAN RACETRACK WILL BE IN U.S.  DOLLARS BASED ON ACTUAL TRACK ODDS DISPLAYED AT THE CANADIAN RACETRACK, NO CURRENCY EXCHANGE WILL OCCUR.
  2. “ENTRY” MEANS TWO OR MORE HORSES IN THE SAME RACE WHICH, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PARI-MUTUEL WAGERING, IS CONSIDERED AS ONE HORSE.  THE MOST COMMON REASON FOR COUPLING OF HORSES IN AN ENTRY IS THE FACT THAT THEY ARE OWNED OR TRAINED BY THE SAME PERSON.
  3. “MUTUEL FIELD” MEANS TWO OR MORE HORSES IN THE SAME RACE THAT ARE COUPLED IN THE WAGERING BECAUSE THE NUMBER OF HORSES IN THE RACE EXCEEDS THE NUMBER WHICH CAN BE HANDLED SEPARATELY BY THE MUTUEL SYSTEM.  A WAGER ON ONE HORSE OF A MUTUEL FIELD SHALL BE CONSIDERED A WAGER ON ALL HORSES IN THAT ENTRY OF MUTUEL FIELD.
  4. THE EXACTOR IS A BETTING TRANSACTION IN WHICH A PURCHASER OF A TICKET UNDERTAKES TO SELECT THE EXACT ORDER OF FINISH OF THE FIRST TWO HORSES IN A RACE OF WHICH THE EXACTOR IS ACCEPTED.  IF A HORSE THAT FINISHES SECOND IS COUPLED WITH THE WINNING HORSES IN A BETTING ENTRY OF MUTUEL FIELD, A WINNING EXACTOR TICKET SHALL BE ONE COMBINING THE WINNING HORSE AND THE NEXT HIGHEST FINISHING HORSE THAT IS NOT PART OF THE ENTRY OR MUTUEL FIELD.
  5. THE TRIACTOR IS A BETTING TRANSACTION IN WHICH A PURCHASER OF A TICKET UNDERTAKES TO SELECT AN EXACT ORDER OF FINISH OF THE FIRST THREE HORSES IN A RACE ON WHICH THE TRIACTOR IS ACCEPTED.  IF MORE THAN ONE HORSES THAT IS PART OF THE ENTRY OR MUTUEL FIELD IS AMONG THE FIRST THREE FINISHERS, ONLY THE HORSE WITH THE HIGHEST WINNING FINISHING POSITION WILL BE CONSIDERED IN DETERMINING THE WINNING TRIACTOR COMBINATION.  FOR EXAMPLE, IF THE ORDER OF FINISH IS 1A-2-1-3, THE WINNING TRIACTOR COMBINATION WILL BE 1-2-3.  IN THE EVENT THAT NO TICKETS ARE SOLD ON THE CORRECT COMBINATION, WINNING TICKETS SHALL BE DETERMINED IN THE FOLLOWING SEQUENCE: a)  1ST – 2ND –ALL,   b)  1ST – ALL –ALL.
