24K Tier Credits, Slot Points and Comp Dollars Earning
What are Tier Credits and how do I earn them?
You earn Tier Credits as you play slots, video poker and table games. Tier Credits help you qualify for enhanced benefits such as priority service, event invitations and more! To ensure you are credited for all your play, make sure to properly insert your 24K Select Club Card while playing slots, video poker, and present your card to a staff member when playing table games. Not all machines are applicable at every property. Tier Credits earned at each property may be earned at different rates, but accumulate in the same account (exclusions apply). Tier Credits have no cash value and are non-transferrable. Tier Credits are earned over a 12 month period beginning on February 1 and reset on January 31.
What are Slot Points and how do I earn them?
Slot Points* are earned as you play slots and video poker with your 24K Select Club Card properly inserted into any slot or video poker machine (except at Golden Nugget Atlantic City). Slot Points can be redeemed for Free Slot Play at the property where the Slot Points were earned. Slot Points and Free Slot Play are not available on video poker machines at Golden Nugget Lake Charles. Slot Points may be earned at different rates depending on 24K Select Club Tier level, and are redeemable at the property where they were earned. At Golden Nugget Atlantic City and Golden Nugget Laughlin, you can earn Cash Back as you play with your 24K Select Club Card properly inserted into any slot or video poker machine. Cash Back can be used for Free Slot Play 48 hours after the Cash Back was earned and is valid for 90 days at Golden Nugget Atlantic City. How do I earn Comp Dollars?
You earn Comp Dollars* as you play with your 24K Select Club Card properly inserted into any slot or video poker machine or presented to table games personnel prior to playing. Comp Dollars may be earned at different rates depending on 24K Select Club Tier level, and may be used at any Golden Nugget Casino or participating Landry’s Inc. restaurant. Comp Dollars expire one year from when they were earned (two years at Golden Nugget Laughlin). Where can I use my Slot Points?
Slot Points* may be converted into Free Slot Play at the casino location it was earned on participating slot and video poker machines (Except at Golden Nugget Atlantic City). Free Slot Play is not available for usage on video poker machines at Golden Nugget Lake Charles. At Golden Nugget Laughlin you can use your Slot Points for Cash Back. Where can I use my Comp Dollars?
There are several options to redeem Comp Dollars*:
- At the property where you earned your Comp Dollars, you can use them at a 1:1 ratio (except at certain retail locations) for dining, retail purchases, cabana rentals, spa treatments, rounds of golf and more.
- At any of your favorite Landry’s Inc. restaurants nationwide.**
- At other Golden Nugget Casinos.**

24K One Card
Can I use my card from one Golden Nugget Casino at a different Golden Nugget Casino?
Yes. Your card from any Golden Nugget Casino will now work at any other Golden Nugget Casino.
If I have multiple accounts, each from different Golden Nugget Casinos, which card should I use?
All of the cards will work in the slot machines and on the tables, but it’s best to visit the 24K Select Club at the beginning of your trip to find out which account has become your main account number so you can begin using that one only.
Are my Slot Points from multiple Golden Nugget Casinos now combined into one universal account?
No. Slot Points accumulate separately at each Golden Nugget Casino and are only redeemable at the Casino in which they were earned.
Are my Comp Dollars from multiple Golden Nugget Casinos now combined into one universal account?
Yes. Comp Dollars earned at multiple Golden Nugget Casinos accumulate in one universal Comp Dollar account and may be used at any Golden Nugget Casino or Landry’s Inc. restaurant (some restrictions may apply).
Are my Tier Credits from multiple Golden Nugget Casinos now combined into one universal account?
Yes. Tier Credits earned at multiple Golden Nugget Casinos accumulate in one universal Tier Credit account. Therefore, your Tier Status is the same at all Golden Nugget Casinos.
Can I use my invited offers at any Golden Nugget Casino?
No. Your offers (hotel nights, Free Slot Play, food coupons, etc.) that you receive via mailed or emailed invitation are only valid at the casino stated on the invitation.

24K Other Questions
Can I transfer Comp Dollars to another account?
No. Comp Dollars are non-transferable. If a guest in your party has Comp Dollars available, each 24K Select Club member may use their Comp Dollars at time of payment.
Can I redeem my Comp Dollars if I forget to bring my 24K Select Card?
No. You must present your valid 24K Select Club Card and valid ID to redeem your Comp Dollars at time of payment.
Can I redeem my Comp Dollars for alcohol?
Yes. Comp Dollars may be redeemed at any Landry’s Inc. restaurant nationwide, Golden Nugget retail shops and in room dining.
Are there Comp Dollar restrictions?
When you use your Comp Dollars at a Landry’s Inc. restaurant outside of a Golden Nugget Casino, you must redeem a minimum of $5 Comp Dollars and may redeem up to $300 per cardholder per day, or $1,000 at Mastro’s (in N.J., N.Y. and PA redemption is unlimited). When you use your Comp Dollars at any Golden Nugget Casino, you may use your full balance ($300 daily maximum at Golden Nugget Laughlin). See 24K Select Club Booth for details. Comp Dollars may only be redeemed at Landry’s Inc. restaurants in the U.S.

How old do you have to be to check in?
The minimum age requirement for check-in is 21 years old with a valid ID.
Do you offer military, AARP or AAA discounts?
For active or retired military, AAA card holders and AARP card holders we offer 10% off of our best available rate. This is subject to availability and may be restricted at times.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
We have a limited number of rooms available that will accommodate pets and must be reserved in advance. At this time, pet friendly rooms are limited to dog companions only. Small to medium dogs are identified as dogs that are between 2 to 34.9lbs and a large dog is identified as one that weighs 35lbs to 50lbs. The only other animals allowed on property are service animals (i.e. Seeing Eye dogs or K-9 police). Please contact us at +1 (844) 777-GOLD (4653) for more information and rates.
Does Golden Nugget have day care or babysitting for children?

What is a Resort Fee?
A daily Resort Fee of $12.99 will be charged to your room. The fee covers pool access, pool towel usage, guest room Wi-Fi access, fitness center access, and bottled water provided in guest room.
Can I bring food and drinks to my room?
Golden Nugget does not permit outside food and beverages including coolers in guest rooms and suites.
Can I bring an ice cooler to the property?
No coolers over 15 quarts are allowed on property.
Pool, Spa, & Marina
Do registered guests need to purchase day passes to the pool and lazy river?
Registered hotel guests receive complimentary admission to the pool. Guests in King rooms receive 2 complimentary passes and guests in Double rooms receive up to 4 complimentary passes. Any additional guests should be registered upon check in for additional passes.
What is the cost for a day pass to the pool and lazy river?
Day passes for the general public may be purchased at the Spa or at the entrance to the H2O Pool + Bar. See H2O Pool & Bar for rates, hours and restrictions.
Can I bring an ice chest or outside food and drinks to the pool?
Ice chests, outside food and drinks are not allowed in the H2O Pool + Bar.
How can I reserve a cabana or daybed?
Reservations for cabanas and daybeds can be made by calling the Spa at 337-508-4005 or by booking online at book cabanas.
What is the difference between a premium cabana and a regular cabana?
Premium cabanas face the H2O Pool while regular cabanas face the lazy river. Please call 337.508.4005 or visit book cabanas to reserve your cabana or daybed.
How do I make an appointment at the Spa?

What are the fees for using the Spa?
The Spa facilities including Steam, Sauna, whirlpool and locker room is $15.00 for hotel guests and $25.00 for non-hotel guests. Fitness center is complimentary for hotel guests and is included with the $25.00 fee for non-hotel guests. For guests with a spa appointment, an amenities fee of 5% will be applied to the guest’s final Spa & Salon bill for the use of these spa facilities.
What are the differences in massages and prices?
All of our massages use different techniques from Relaxation, deep tissue, heat therapy, hot stones and organic massage creams and oils. The prices are slightly lower Monday through Thursday than Friday through Sunday and we offer package options Monday through Thursday. Spa Promotions and specials usually run all week Monday through Sunday. A detailed description is available on the Spa page or during the booking process a description will be displayed with each service.
What are the hours of operation of the Spa & Salon?
The Spa is open Sunday through Thursday 6am to 8pm. Friday and Saturday the Spa is open 6am to 9pm. We open at 6am to allow our hotel guests to utilize the fitness center and Spa facilities, generally Spa & Salon services will begin at 9am.
Is there an age requirement for the Spa & Salon?
Yes, for Spa services, fitness center and Spa facility usage you must be 18 years or older. For Salon services we ask that all minors under 16 years of age are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
How many services can be booked simultaneously when booking a group?
We have 6 treatment rooms, 2 Couples rooms and 2 esthetic rooms in the Spa. In the Salon we have 3 hair stations, 1 make up station, 3 manicure tables and 4 pedicure chairs. Depending on your group and the type of services they would like to book, the Spa & Salon is able to accommodate up to 25 individuals at one time, based on availability.
Is there a group rate for Spa & Salon Services?
Group rates will vary depending on the event and/or if you have booked with the Golden Nugget Conference Planning. Group rates will be offered to groups of 5 people or more. Please call one of our reservationists for further details and requirements.
What is the cancellation Policy for Spa & Salon Services?
Cancellation policy for Spa and Salon services is 4 hours’ notice from the Reservation time. To avoid a 50% cancellation charge we ask that our guest cancel before 4 hours of the reservation otherwise there is a 50% cancellation fee assessed.

How old must I be to enter the Casino?
The Golden Nugget has a strict policy against underage gambling. Louisiana State law prohibits anyone (patron or vendor) under the age of 21 from entering a gaming area. Any person attempting to enter the gaming area appearing to be 35 years of age or younger, could be requested to present identification to validate their age.
What are acceptable forms of ID that I can use to enter the casino?
The ONLY forms of valid ID that are acceptable are the following:
- State or U.S Government Issued Photo ID or Driver License (including US Passport cards, and Nexus IDs)
- Military ID’s will be accepted as a secondary form of ID, not primary.
- Secondary identification may be requested if the ID presented is of questionable quality or cannot be verified.
Can I bring a backpack on the casino gaming floor?
For security reasons, no carry-ons or backpacks are allowed on the casino gaming floor. Exceptions can be made for medical necessity or the storage of large quantities of currency. If arriving on a bus, bags may be left on the bus. All guests can utilize the secure bag check for any belongings. All bags allowed on the casino gaming floor are subject to inspection.
Resort. This policy is designed for the protection of our guests and team members, and pertains to the presence of firearms on resort premises.
The Golden Nugget recognizes that guests or visitors may legally possess firearms for a variety of legitimate purposes. This policy is intended to create a safe environment for all guests and visitors by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms on our premises.
Resort premises are private property. Guests or visitors of the Golden Nugget who lawfully are permitted to possess a firearm, may bring such firearm onto hotel premises for storage purposes only. Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state and local laws with respect to firearms, in the jurisdiction of Louisiana ensuring that the firearm is:
· Secured in a locked, hard-sided firearm container provided by the guest; and
· Securely safeguarded at all times in a guest room safe (or personal vehicle), except when transporting the firearm into or out of the hotel.
Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises. A blanket exception to the restrictions described in this policy statement applies only to law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. No exemption to this policy is allowed for private persons, even those licensed and permitted to carry a firearm, and/or where applicable, to conceal-carry a firearm.
Additionally, the resort and casino prohibits guests or visitors from carrying weapons (Openly or concealed) on the hotel premises and casino floor.
Hunting rifles, assault weapons and any other combat weaponry are not allowed in the guest rooms. Guest must check them with security.
“Privacy Please” Policy
Guest privacy and welfare are a top priority at The Golden Nugget. We respect our guest’s need for privacy while we remain focused on supporting the health and welfare of our guests and team members by reserving the right to conduct a welfare check on any room that had a PRIVACY sign for more than 48 hours. In addition, the management reserves the right to enter any room even if the PRIVACY sign is displayed, for maintenance, safety, security or any other purpose.

Is RV parking available?
Golden Nugget Lake Charles does allow limited parking for Recreational Vehicles in the designated area to the east of the casino from Sunday at 6PM until Friday at noon. Upon arrival, contact Security by entering the doors on the east side of the building or by calling 337-508-7911 to register your RV and receive a parking permit. Parking permits must be posted in your windshield with your contact information visible to be used in case of emergency for the duration of your stay. RVs pulling trailers or towing vehicles will not be allowed to park on the property. Parking is prohibited from noon on Fridays through 6PM on Sundays. Oversized vehicles including semi-trucks, tractor trailers or tow behind trailers of any kind are not permitted to park on Golden Nugget Lake Charles property. All parking is at the owners risk and the Golden Nugget assumes no responsibility or liability for loss or damage. Please visit rv parking for additional information.

Is transportation to and from Golden Nugget Lake Charles available?
Yes, Golden Nugget Lake Charles has partnered with A Ambassador Limousine & Transportation Services to offer our guests transportation for purchase to and from our property. Limousines and other transportation vehicles are provided by this partner service, and it is the responsibility of each guest to reserve and purchase these services individually.

How can I get a wheelchair to use during my stay?
Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis. Wheelchairs can be requested upon arrival at any of the Security entrances to the casino area, or by requesting one from a valet attendant or bellman. Please call Security at 337.508.7911 with any questions.
How can I get a scooter to use during my stay?
To rent a motorized scooter, please contact the Bell Desk at 337.508.4001. You can reserve a scooter and have it available at the Bell Desk area when you arrive. It is recommended that you call in advance to reserve a scooter.
